About

Welcome to my blog—a space born out of the necessity to tell stories that often go unheard in mainstream media. As a disabled activist, author, and founder of the Disability Justice movement, Upgrade Accessibility, I created this platform to share my lived experiences and to ensure the voices of the disabled community are front and center.

On this blog, I explore a variety of topics including Disability Justice, aging with Cerebral Palsy, and discovering my identity as a transracial adoptee. Disability is political, and my writing reflects that reality. Through personal stories and reflections, I tackle the systemic ableism that permeates society, while also offering insights into the complexities of identity and intersectionality.

After facing barriers in finding spaces willing to publish my work, I decided to build my own platform—one that advocates for inclusivity, authenticity, and the unapologetic telling of disabled stories. Join me as I navigate the challenges and triumphs of being a disabled, transracial adoptee in a world that often leaves people like me out of the conversation.
